The Council of Ministers of the TRNC, with a view of preventing the spread of the virus, due to the surge in Corona Virus (Covid-19) cases, has decided to apply the following rules:
• A curfew will be applied in all districts in the TRNC starting from 5 February 2021 20:00 until 15 February 2021 05:00.
• Within this context, all individuals, with the exception of private sector personel who are permitted to work addressing basic needs as well as public sector personel who provide crucial services (police, fire department, municipalities, civil defense, health workers and district offices, etc.) are forbidden to leave their residences from 5 February 2021 20:00 until 15 February 2021 05:00.
• Entry/exit between districts will not be allowed. Police officers, health professionals, elderly care centers, yellow pres cardholders and/or press workers, private laboratories, civil aviation and fire fighters will continue their services.
Regulations regarding the sectors that will remain open in the districts are as follows:
• Petrol stations, buthers/fish market, greengrocers, supermarkets will be allowed ro remain open between 08:00 -17:00.
• Bakeries will remain open except for Sundays.
• Twice the number of on-duty pharmacies will be allowed to remain open in each area between 8 :00- 24:00.
• Suppliers for supermarkets and businesses providing basic needs will be carrying out their deliveries between 17:00-20:00.
• All businesses, except for pharmacies will be closed on Sundays.
• Restaurants and delivery services will be closed.
• Exercising outside of homes and all sporting activities will be banned during this period.
• All operations of Soil Products Board such as the sale of feed and barley as well as feed factories and suppliers have been stopped. Exceptions will be made in essential circumstances subject to permits to be obtained from district authorities.
• The Dairy Products Corporation and dairy producers services will continue.
• Emergency breakdown services of internet service providers will continue.
• Private security firms will continue to work
• Bottled water and beverage producers, distributors and sellers to continue to serve.
• Individuals with permission from district authorities to acquire goods or services from open businesses must do so from stores or offices located nearest to their place of residence.
• Import and export sectors, as well as their transport services, will continue to operate.

All members of the public are urged to adhere with the decisions. Those who violate the conditions will be subject to legal prosecution.
